1. Scope of Service & Accuracy Guarantee

MKG Labs Ltd provides certified translation services guaranteeing the linguistic accuracy of translated documents in accordance with standard UK Home Office guidelines. Should any factual or typographical errors be identified in the translation, we will provide a free revision within 7 days of delivery. This guarantee solely covers translation quality and does not validate the underlying legality, authenticity, or factual status of the original source document.

• → Responsibility for Source Documents: Our service only covers the translation of the digital text you provide. MKG Labs Ltd is not obligated to investigate the authenticity or legality of the original documents submitted to us. The client bears full legal responsibility for any consequences arising from forged, invalid, or altered source documents.

2. Authority Compliance & Upgrade Protection

MKG Labs Ltd guarantees that our certified translations conform in format and certification standard to the guidelines provided by the UK Home Office and relevant authorities.

• → Upgrade Protection: Provided the target institution and document type were declared accurately at the time of order; if the receiving authority pauses your application and demands a higher tier of certification (e.g., Accredited Translator, Solicitor, or Notary approval) rather than rejecting it, the amount paid for your initial transaction will be fully credited toward the cost of the upgraded service. Additional requests stemming from incorrect or misleading declarations by the client are excluded from this protection.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Due to the immediate and bespoke digital nature of our certified translation services, processing begins the moment an order is placed. Our refund policy operates under the following strict conditions:

• → Right of Withdrawal & Non-Refundability: As our translation is a bespoke digital service, the physical translation process begins as soon as payment is successfully processed. By confirming the order, the user acknowledges they waive their statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Orders cannot be arbitrarily canceled once processing has begun.
• → 100% Compliance & Full Refund Guarantee: If your visa or institutional application is ultimately rejected directly and solely due to the inadequacy of our certification format, and the situation cannot be remedied via a certification upgrade, your payment will be fully refunded, provided you supply the official rejection letter from the authority. Rejections based on missing documents, legal status, or the discretionary power of the authority fall outside this scope and do not constitute grounds for a refund.
• → Delivery Delays: If translation delivery exceeds 3 working days (72 hours) due to our own operational delays (excluding delays caused by the client, such as missing information), the client has the right to request a full refund. This 72-hour guarantee applies to standard-volume orders (max 2 pages or 500 words per document). For multi-page orders exceeding this volume, delivery times are determined separately based on workload.

4. Limitation of Liability & Indemnity Exemption

MKG Labs Ltd acts strictly as a certified translation agency and is not an immigration consultancy. The acceptance and approval of translated documents remain entirely at the discretion of the receiving authority.

• → Liability Cap: Our legal and financial liability is strictly limited to the maximum amount of the service fee paid to us for the specific translation order. MKG Labs Ltd shall under no circumstances be held liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages (including visa application fees, flight tickets, accommodation costs, loss of business/education opportunities, legal fees, or claims for emotional distress) arising from the rejection, delay, or inaccuracy of a translation.

5. Payment Security (STRIPE)

All credit card and payment transactions are processed securely via our independent, PCI-DSS compliant global payment provider, Stripe. MKG Labs Ltd does not store your full credit card details on its servers or infrastructure under any circumstances.

6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute.
